Tapered tank features exclusive low fuel trap design so most every gallon can be used, and is approximately only 3.9 in. deeper than the stock OEM tank. Very similar in appearance to original equipment tank. TITAN's Generation 6 tanks feature the TITAN Torque Ring(TM) OEM style sending unit mounting system for easy, positive installation. This new RAM tank is made of our famous military grade, cross-linked polymer (XLHDPE). It's at least ¼ in. thick and built to outlast all competitors. The TITAN tank is 21 gallons larger at 52 gallons. The stock tank is only 31 gallons. Will not interfere with powered steps, air bag systems and most other accessories. Our mid-ship, direct replacement fuel tanks are designed to use your trucks stock/OE sending unit. However, our tanks are compatible with Fleece, AirDog, FASS, etc. Not for use on the trucks that were ordered from the factory with the optional 48/50 gallon RAM tank. This tank does NOT fit cab & chassis models. It is ONLY for use on trucks with traditional pick-up truck short beds.
